Overview Kelly Science and Clinical is seeking talented and innovative PhD-Level Assay Development Scientists for future opportunities in the Greater Seattle area. Overview The Assay Development Scientist will lead the design and optimization of assays to support our client's research and development efforts. This role will involve substantial collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring the creation of robust, reproducible, and high-throughput assays that drive scientific progress.

Responsibilities

  • Assay Design and Development:
  • Lead the development of innovative assays for various applications, including biochemical, cellular, and molecular assays.
  • Optimize assay conditions to ensure reliability, sensitivity, and specificity.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with scientific and technical teams to align assay development with project goals.
  • Present findings and progress to stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyze and interpret assay data, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Develop and implement data management and analysis protocols.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all assay development processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assay development processes and results. Qualifications
    • Educational Background:
    • PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in assay development, with expertise in designing and optimizing diverse assays.
  • Experience in high-throughput screening and data analysis.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
