Kelly Services has partnered with a leading food manufacturing company in Montebello, CA!

This company is a dynamic, fast growing food manufacturer and is currently searching for reliable, team-oriented Sanitation worker. As a Sanitation Operator at our site, you'll be responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness and sanitation operations.

Sanitation Operator/Janitor – Montebello, CA – 1st Shift
 

Shift/Pay Details:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Monday-Friday - $20.00 per/hour
• Short Term Temp (Under 3 Months)

Job Description and Duties include but are not limited to:

• In this role, you will be working in different areas of the warehouse, production and outside perimeters of the industrial establishment; keeping it clean and in an orderly condition.

• Empty out all the waste cans in the facility daily.
• Sweep and mop all of the bathrooms and lab floors on a daily frequency.
• Complete janitorial tasks
• Remove all the cobwebs throughout the facility on a weekly frequency.
•  Ensure that any debris are pick up throughout the plant.
• Rinse down all the manufacturing building floors on a weekly schedule.
• Use the wet vacuum to remove any standing water throughout the plant.
• Ensure the plant is maintained in an audit ready state of cleanliness.
• Preform any cleaning tasks assigned by the plant management team.
• Forklift experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required
• Manufacturing experience preferred but NOT required 
• Ability to use common cleaning equipment and general knowledge of cleaning compounds. 
• Experience in sanitation or a proven ability to perform expectations.
