This role will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of safety initiatives and compliance programs. The ideal candidate is well organized, detail-oriented, proactive, intermediate in MS applications and skilled at multitasking.
Pay Rate: $20-$28 per hour
Length: Contract to hire
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Safety department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for safety meetings, toolbox talks, and educational programs.
  • Support the management of contractor and supplier information management websites.
  • Track and organize workers' compensation claims and related documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of travel arrangements and itineraries for site visits.
  • Handle general correspondence and ensure timely communication
Required Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
  • Previous administrative experience in industrial, safety, or construction setting.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs.
  • Experience working with contractor and supplier information management websites (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, DISA).
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and reporting.
