Position: Rotary Die Cutter (Direct Hire) Pay Rate: $25+ per hour (Increase due to exp)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Job Summary
A rotary die cutter is a machine operator responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring a rotary die cutting machine to precisely cut materials like paper, cardboard, or plastic into specific shapes by utilizing a rotating cylindrical die, ensuring quality and production efficiency while adhering to job specifications; tasks include loading materials, adjusting machine settings, inspecting cuts, and performing basic maintenance checks.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Machine setup:
- Installing the correct cutting die based on the job order.
- Adjusting feed guides and registration settings for precise material feeding.
- Checking and adjusting machine pressure and cutting depth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Understanding of rotary die cutting principles and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude for machine setup and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
