Repair Workshop Mechanic
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $21.50
About the Role:
The Repair Workshop Mechanic will be responsible for assembling and disassembling mechanical/industrial pumps according to a production plan. You will follow standard operating procedures via computer instructions to ensure the efficient repair and assembly of mechanical equipment. Achieving production targets related to productivity, volume, and efficiency will be a key part of the role.
What We Expect:
- After training, you will be capable of repairing pumps per company specifications, observing quality and safety standards.
- Ability to disassemble and assemble mechanical equipment, identify faults, and test equipment performance.
- Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment in line with the company's health and safety policy.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude: Experience working with cars, taking things apart, or assembling items is highly valued.
- Basic computer skills: Ability to pull up work instructions and standard operating procedures, drawings, and instructions.
- Automotive repair experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
- Must wear safety shoes (steel-toed or composite toed).
- Long pants/jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts are acceptable (uniforms will be provided within the first couple of weeks).
- Safety glasses and hearing protection provided; hearing protection required in DCI-Disassemble, Clean, Inspect area.
