R&D Lab Technician – Marysville, MI
Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified temporary R&D Lab Technician position in Marysville, MI. The need to fill this role is immediate.
Summary:
TheR&D Technician is a member of a Product Development Team. Each Product Development Team is responsible for a set of projects that may focus on the development of new tape structures or assisting production personnel in solving processing problems.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot work
- To compound or obtain adhesives, primers and release coating employed in pilot runs.
- To prepare finished product on the pilot line.
- To conduct standard and any end-use performance testing of pilot product.
- To conduct standard and any end-use performance testing of experimental production product.
- Report the findings of all testing in a standardized report format.
Qualifications/Education/Skills:
- Associates Degree or higher with an emphasis in Science. A strong math and/or chemistry background is a plus.
- Innovative, organized self-starter with good problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative interpersonal style with experience in working on project teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- $21-22/hr and Monday-Friday, 8AMEST – 430PMEST.
