We're looking for a Quality Assurance Lab and Regulatory Technician to support our mission of delivering safe, high-quality products while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory bodies.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor, analyze, and report lab results for raw materials and finished goods—flagging any out-of-spec results to protect product integrity.

  • Support the company's Quality Program by reviewing and developing procedures, conducting visual inspections, and analyzing product samples.

  • Perform laboratory tests including ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) analysis, moisture, and water activity (aW) testing.

  • Maintain sample retain libraries and assist in troubleshooting product quality issues.

  • Participate in the hold/release system for finished goods and contribute to quality audits (e.g., Safe Feed/Safe Food, HACCP).

  • Oversee documentation in TraceGains, including supplier records, formulas (Brill and Adage), and compliance documentation.

  • Maintain state licensing and registration for animal nutrition and agronomy.

  • Foster a strong food safety culture in alignment with cGMPs, food defense, and quality policies across production and warehousing.

What You Bring
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a plus.

  • Experience: 1–3 years in quality control/assurance in manufacturing, food/feed, or related industry.

  • Certifications: PCQI preferred (but not required).

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and documentation abilities.

  • Comfortable with lab equipment and procedures such as ICP, moisture, aW, and flash point analysis.

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and documentation, state licensing, and customer forms.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
