Quality Assurance Associate

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Hourly Pay Rate: $22-$24

Overview: The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for managing market complaints and ensuring quality in our facilities, including warehouses and production plants.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage market complaints:

    • Document, investigate, and respond to customer complaints.
    • Prepare detailed investigation reports in collaboration with various departments.
    • Address customer concerns with appropriate responses.
    • Compile trend reports on market complaints.
  • Oversee quality in production and warehousing:

    • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct training.
    • Monitor procedures and logbooks for efficiency and compliance.
    • Assist in internal audits and maintain accurate records.
    • Ensure manufacturing records are error-free before product release.
    • Support product release activities based on testing data and batch records.
    • Participate in internal and external audits.
    • Manage retained samples and environmental monitoring.
    • Coordinate with sanitation personnel for equipment cleaning and verification.
    • Send samples to third-party laboratories as needed.
    • Maintain a clean working environment and assist with document filing and cleaning studies.
    • Handle product returns and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Perform other duties assigned by Quality management.

Skills:

  • Associate's degree in a science-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a QA role in FDA-regulated industries (Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, or Food).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
