Description

Kelly Science is seeking a QC Sample Manager for a growing client located in Pennington, NJ.

Summary:
As a QC Sample Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sampling process, inventory management and ensuring all QC samples meet regulatory and industry standards.

Job Duties include:

  • Oversee the collection, labeling, storage, and distribution of QC samples from various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure samples are handled according to standard operating procedures SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sample transactions and inventories.
  • Ensure that all samples are tested in compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain protocols for sample integrity and chain of custody.
  • Review and approve sampling procedures and protocols to ensure consistent and reliable results.
  • Manage the inventory of QC samples, reagents, and supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions and timely replenishment.
  • Monitor sample storage conditions and take corrective actions when necessary to maintain sample integrity.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all sampling activities and results.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems LIMS to track and manage sample data.
  • Lead and manage the QC sampling team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate sampling schedules and ensure timely collection and processing of samples.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving sampling procedures and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and insights related to sample management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in QC sample management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Proficient in sample handling techniques, inventory management, and quality control processes.
  • Experience with LIMS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
