Job Title: QC Environmental Monitoring Technician
Location: Concord, North Carolina
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Hourly Pay Rate: $27-$34

Position Overview:
The QC Environmental Monitoring Technician will provide essential support for Parenteral Operations by performing environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing areas, as well as utility sampling and analysis within both the Parenteral Operations and QC Laboratory buildings. This role will also assist with the training and mentorship of other QC Environmental Monitoring Technicians and provide support during routine environmental monitoring and utility sampling activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing areas in compliance with cGMP procedures and Good Documentation Practices.

  • Perform utility sampling and analysis within the Parenteral Operations and QC Laboratory buildings to support manufacturing and laboratory operations.

  • Assist with the training and mentoring of QC Environmental Monitoring Technicians to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to enhancing departmental and company processes.

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instruction documentation.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and promote compliance with safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3 years of experience in a cGMP regulated manufacturing environment conducting environmental monitoring

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements within a cGMP Manufacturing facility.

  • Proven ability to mentor and train junior team members.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, management, and other departments.

  • Ability to work in a laboratory setting while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and dedicated cleanroom attire.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional extended or off-hour shifts, to meet production needs.
