Purchasing and Logistics Analyst
Location: Erlanger, KY
Position Type: Full-Time
On site 5 days per week
Salary $50-60k per year
 
Our client is a leading provider of pharmaceutical products and services, committed to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to their customers.
Their Erlanger, KY facility is a vital part of their operations, and they are looking for a dedicated Purchasing and Logistics Analyst to join their growing team.
 
Position Overview
The Purchasing and Logistics Analyst will play a pivotal role in streamlining procurement processes and enhancing supply chain operations.
This position requires close collaboration with the quality team to ensure that all purchasing activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
 
Responsibilities

  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, forecast demand, and support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize supply chain logistics to improve efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and monitor performance metrics.
  • Address and resolve supply chain disruptions or issues as they arise.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Erlanger, KY, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations is a plus.
