Position: Project Management Team Member (Tester)
Location: Remote
Hours: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AZ Time)
Pay: Depending on experience up to $30 an hour.
Client is a family-owned software development company specializing in state-of-the-art transportation solutions. Our systems are used by Departments of Transportation across North America to manage and permit oversize and overweight truck loads.
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Team Member (Tester) to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will test software to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance, functionality, and user experience before deployment. This position involves:
- Writing and executing test scripts for large and complex web applications.
- Conducting manual tests to identify and resolve issues.
- Working closely with developers to ensure quality and functionality.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering calls and assisting with client inquiries during the last few hours of your day.
- Test software applications to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Identify, document, and resolve bugs or issues.
- Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage task lists and adhere to critical deadlines.
- Assist with customer calls, answering questions, and providing updates.
Work Experience:
- No formal software testing experience required; training provided.
- Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and web/mobile applications.
- Previous experience in software testing is a plus.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, solve problems under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Education:
- Associate's Degree preferred.
