What's a typical day as a Braze/Assembler? You'll be:
• Performing pre-operation checks for both individual machines and work area to ensure safety.
• Assembling conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips.
• Operating braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levels.
• Inspecting parts to meet established ISO requirements.
• Supporting functions and change-overs to meet established due dates.
• Tracking and problem-solving of materials used and efficient equipment use to reduce cost.
• Managing work in progress (WIP) and components such as carbide, braze, flux, and steel bodies.
• Participating in lean events and utilizing lean processes in daily duties.
• Performing daily required TPM on associated equipment.
• Performing daily required 5S activities for the work area.
• Accurately and timely recording of required data such as production and quality.

• Have the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
