Pay rate and Shift
l Job Duration: 2+ Month
l Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday
Job Summary:
The Production Technician I is responsible for manufacturing a variety of different GC columns, will require excellent organization, good time management, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
l Follow written instructions (SOP) for all critical processes.
l Processing GC capillary columns.
l Follow all Safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment.
l Prepare GC capillary columns for processing using tools according to written instructions.
l Material verification and inspection
l Schedule time efficiently to complete work orders in order of priority.
l Data entry in AX/Access computer system
l Keep all work areas, equipment, and tools neat, clean, and organized.
l Maintain and repair the equipment as needed.
l Transfer completed GC capillary columns, with documentation, to QA department for inspection
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
l 1 – 2 Years Manufacturing experience preferred
l High School Diploma
l Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects
l Requires analytical thinking and problem solving
l Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks
l Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
l Employees are responsible for performing their duties in an environment that is free from discrimination, intimidation, coercion or harassment, including sexual harassment.
l Work is performed primarily indoors in an office, laboratory, or warehouse setting; wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
l The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate higher level of noise may be prevalent in laboratories or warehouse settings.
l While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to travel or work necessary overtime.
