At Kelly®, we're seeking Senior Production Technicians to work in Carlsbad, CA.

Pay Rate: $27 hourly
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am – 2:30pm

Senior Production Technician:
• Operating process related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe, environmentally responsible manner
• Optimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions using spray rates and coverage, ensuring proper electrical properties for coated foams and honeycombs
• Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, costs, yield, environmental health and safety, production rates, etc.
• Adjusting manually operated equipment based on process and lab data
• Determining root causes of deviations in process, product, or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Completing individual duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Have previous experience in spraying and/or blending technology, manufacturing, the military, or a related environment (highly preferred)
• Are proficient in Microsoft applications (such as Word and Excel)
• Have the ability to perform basic math
• Have high attention to detail
• Follow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation
• Have an Associate degree or higher (preferred)
• Have other technical or manufacturing certifications (preferred)
• Are willing and able to work the first shift (6am-2:30pm), including overtime as needed
• Are willing and able to lift 50 lbs. (example: bags of material)
• Are willing and able to complete work that involves repetitive motion
• Can perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms
