Job Opportunity: Production Supervisor Location: NW St Louis About the Role: Are you passionate about manufacturing processes and exceeding production goals? We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. This role involves overseeing production employees and enhancing efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach employees to achieve manufacturing results.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise results.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff.
  • Monitor workflows, set processing variables, and implement cost reductions.
  • Schedule and assign personnel, resolve problems, and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure equipment operation and evaluate new techniques.
  • Compile and analyze production performance data.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Manage union relationships and resolve personnel issues.
  • Generate and submit performance reports.
  • Contribute to team efforts and take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
