Salary: $80-92,000/YR
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9/10AM-5/6PM (must be flexible to work an occasional Saturdays too during peak season)
Location: Charlotte, NC

What's a typical day as a Production Manager? You'll be:
• Monitoring and adjusting product and process flow to ensure quality and production operations standards are met.
• Reviewing production plans to maximize resource utilization while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Providing direction, leadership, development, and support to packaging employees.
• Developing shift supervisors in their career progression and understanding of the operation/business.
• Creating and maintaining a workplace culture that engages and motivates employees.
• Ensuring proper procedures and documentation are in place for each shift.
• Partnering with the Maintenance team to minimize downtime through preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Monitoring production and quality, resolving issues, and participating in special projects.
• Driving continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Demonstrating safety leadership and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the facility's environmental footprint.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Can show process improvement initiative results and speak on specifics of your accomplishments with previous roles
• Have a hands on leadership style
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Operational Management, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisor roles, preferably leading leaders in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Have demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Have demonstrated ability to organize, develop, and build an effective team.
• Are hands-on and customer service-oriented, with a sense of urgency.
• Preferably have experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and JD Edwards (JDE) or other ERP applications.
