Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- $23.00 per hour
- Full-time Direct with our client
- Competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour
- Comprehensive benefits after 3 months, including dental care, extended health care, life insurance, and RRSP after 1 year
- Safety-conscious work environment with provided coveralls
- Extensive training and buddy system for new employees
- Regular pre-shift meetings to review production results and goals
- Weekly Friday toolbox safety talks
What's a typical day as a Production Associate for Concrete Manufacturing? You'll be:
- Operating forklift, overhead crane, and scissor lifts
- Reading and interpreting mold specifications
- Cleaning, oiling, and prepping concrete jackets
- Assisting with loading/unloading materials
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have the ability to work in a noisy, dirty environment
- Possess physical stamina to stand for 10 hours/day and lift up to 50lbs
- Are comfortable working in a heavy industry around equipment
- Have experience with forklift, overhead crane, scissor lift preferred (training provided)
- Are proficient with hand tools
- Have a reliable work history
