Job Overview: We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Production/Assembly Associates. In this role, you will work with automation technology and assist in the assembly of mobile radios and telecommunications equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the production of high-quality equipment.
Shift and Pay:
1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:15pm - $16/Hour
2nd Shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm - $17.50/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with automation systems to load components for processing mobile radios.
- Pick mobile accessories and handle cartons for shipping.
- Read and follow computer station work instructions, including scanning parts.
- When the workflow slows down, assist in the assembly of mobile bricks and telecommunications equipment.
- Be willing to cross-train in various roles, including cabling server components, using a torque gun for assembly, and testing equipment before packing for shipping.
- Unpack components and handle materials necessary for the assembly process.
- Pack finished products and parts for shipping.
- Report to the shift supervisor and utilize basic computer skills to assist with tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on the automation line.
- Basic computer skills and key entry proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in different roles.
- Previous assembly or electronics experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move around the work area for the entire shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted and up to 50+ lbs with a team lift.
