Job Opportunity: Injection Molding Process Engineer About the Role: Join our dynamic team as a Process Engineer in our new facility! You'll play a crucial role in maintaining equipment and processes to ensure our products consistently meet quality standards. Work on exciting new project development launches in the healthcare sector and make a tangible difference. Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a safety role model, prioritize your safety and that of others.
  • Master all areas of our quality system.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Perform tool qualifications.
  • Develop plastic processing project instructions.
  • Propose solutions for technical problems, including part redesign and material substitutions.
  • Recommend and design components for plastic injection molding machinery.
  • Conduct process window studies, design of experiments, and other tests to improve equipment performance.
  • Utilize instrumented tooling with cavity pressure sensing for process development and monitoring.
  • Develop processes using scientific methods, including DOE and Window studies.
  • Perform qualification (FOT, FAT, SAT) and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) studies.
  • Analyze test results against design specifications and make necessary equipment adjustments.
  • Record detailed test procedures and results.
  • Identify and document any issues related to product, process, or quality.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; preferred completion of a two-year technical college program or four-year university degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of plastics injection molding experience.
  • Proficiency in injection molding processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
