What's a typical day as a Process Coach? You'll be:
• Coaching safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work
• Monitoring and responding to occurrences as secondary support
• Verifying that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts through process confirmation
• Supporting continuous improvement and coaching problem resolution to the lowest level
• Communicating and recognizing team members
• Building Team Leader and Team Member capability
• Creating a conducive work environment for the team to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks
• Performing basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
• Handling daily material handling functions for the facility and department
• Ensuring proper material flow from receiving dock to production line feed location to delivery of finished product to customers
• Providing direction and support in resource allocation for material handling responsibilities
• Supporting the Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices
• Leading and managing unionized hourly personnel

• Have the ability to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends
• Can work independently with limited supervision
• Are capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes
• Have strong organizational and administrative skills
• Can multitask and have strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
