Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a principal business analyst on a Department of Defense contract with our customer in Baton Rouge, LA.  This assignment should last approximately five months and could be extended.

Job Description:
As a Business Analyst on one of our customer's Agile software development teams, you will manage and coordinate interactions with customer stakeholders and program SMEs and document system requirements and needs in Jira and Confluence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Translate Business Rules into Decision Table Models
• Document “AS IS” and “TO BE” processes
• Conduct walkthroughs with internal and external teams
• Elicit requirements from Product Owners
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practice

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (1 year of education = 1.5 years of experience)
• Minimum of six (6) years' documented and demonstrated experience in a business analyst/requirements analyst type role
• Working knowledge and documented experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, TFS, etc.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, certifications a plus
• Knowledge of RVS or Windchill a plus
