Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Saginaw, TX

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to operate various material handling equipment for moving products, equipment, and materials within our facility. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency.

Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Must have steel toed or composite toed shoes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely put away palletized units into racks above floor height using forklifts.
  • Retrieve palletized units from racks for outbound shipment.
  • Load and unload materials onto pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and locations of products.
  • Document and report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment, if needed.
  • Ensure all palletized stock is securely wrapped before placement or transport.
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
  • Monitor battery charge for material handling equipment and maintain cleanliness.
  • Alert supervisors of any product or material issues and await instructions.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse at the end or throughout shifts.

Shifts Available:

  • Shift A: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Shift B: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $16/hour

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Ability to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to understand instructions in English or the local official language.
  • Comfortable working in temperature extremes (from -20°F to 100°F) while wearing necessary protective gear.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18 kgs); weight may vary by facility.
  • Flexible work schedule required, including weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to work in a loud environment.
  • Must be able to work in a COLD environment
  • Must have steel or composite toed shoes
