A Physical Disabilities Classroom is a specialized educational setting designed to cater to the unique needs of students with physical disabilities. Paraeducators collaborate with a team to provide individualized support plans tailored to each student's specific challenges and abilities. The environment is adapted to accommodate mobility aids, specialized equipment, and technologies that facilitate learning. The curriculum focuses on fostering independence, overcoming physical challenges, and achieving academic and personal goals.

Kelly Education Paraeducators help to create an inclusive and supportive space where students can thrive, embracing their unique abilities and reaching their full potential while understanding their physical strengths and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with educators to provide hands-on support, implementing personalized plans for students with physical disabilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages peer collaboration.
  • Assist with adaptive technologies, mobility aids, and specialized equipment to enhance students' learning experiences.
  • Empower students to understand their physical challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.
