Job Opportunity: Parts Coordinator
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Duration: 9 hours per day, with some weekends
Hourly Rate: $21
Location: Holland, MI
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for pulling parts from pick lists, placing incoming stock accurately, packaging, shipping parts, and fulfilling warehouse orders, which includes crating parts for international shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correctly place incoming stock in designated locations.
- Retrieve parts for orders from pick lists, particularly for parts and pump orders.
- Package and ship parts and warehouse orders efficiently.
- Crate parts for overseas shipments, involving frequent forklift use (both sit-down and stand-up forklifts).
- Operate a tape measure accurately and construct crates suitable for international shipping.
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Receive and process incoming freight from vendors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor workload and request assistance when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and support 5S requirements.
- Perform additional duties as needed based on organizational requirements.
- High School Diploma/GED with relevant shop experience.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and cranes for material handling.
- Effective performance in stockroom, shipping, and receiving tasks.
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
