Partner Scientist
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking aa Partner Scientist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global consumer products clients in Skillman, NJ.
Location: Skillman, NJ (will relocate to Summit, NJ in the future)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8A-5P
Compensation: $30-40/hr
Summary:
This position in Scientific Affairs is responsible for providing clinical veterinary support for the Animal Care and Use Program at the Santa Clara facility. This position reports to the Attending Veterinarian (AV) and is the backup AV when required.
Responsibilities:
- The partner scientist performs analytical material characterization in quantitative and qualitative manner using general analytical technologies including chromatography (HPLC, GC, etc.) and other instrumentations or wet chemistry.
- The individual will perform analytical tasks under technical guidance and documents/report the results.
- The individual will communicate and collaborate with working partners for strategy alignment and progress update.
- The individual will follow company SOPs and safety policy for daily activities.
Qualifications
- A degree of BS or MS or PhD in Science/Engineering is required.
- Experience in chromatographic analysis (HPLC and/or GC) is required.
- Experience or knowledge in wet chemistry is required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
- GxP knowledge is preferred.
- Must be legal to work in USA.
