Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Hybrid)
Location: Onsite, Greenville, SC

What's a typical day as Operational Cost Analyst? You'll be:
• Analyzing financial data related to Rail, Port, Storage, and Transit Yard operations, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.
• Managing unplanned cost inputs and ensuring accurate tracking of logistics costs for service providers.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish best practices for cost management and reporting.
• Monitor usage at all transit yards.
• Update the system of record with Project Planned Costs based on planned usage.
• Send signal internally/externally to open/close Transit Yards.
• Review and Approve Transit Yard OT requests as needed to support truck/rail plan.
• Problem solving when LSP invoices do not match usage.
• Collect Monthly Snapshots from all transit yards with any operations activity and/or GE inventory.
• Daily monitoring of Rail/Vessel plan.
• Daily monitoring of Truck plan in/out at all Transit Yards.
• Daily monitoring of Inventory Report
• Collaborate with Sourcing, truck and rail Ops, Transit Yards operators, Inventory analysts, Quality as needed.
• Attend weekly strategy/planning calls and prepare Operations Summary reports as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to establish best practices for receiving and tracking cost
• Communicate with freight payment team to verify invoiced amounts
• Create and maintain documented work instructions for tracking cost

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 2+ years of experience in Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain Management, with a strong understanding of operational cost analysis.
• Possess advanced proficiency in MS Excel and moderate proficiency in other MS Office programs, including Access and PowerPoint (required).
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management (preferred). High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years relevant experience is required.
