Legal Secretary
Office Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Fridays: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: $16/hour
Type: Temp-Hire (Opportunity to transfer to full-time upon a good fit)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join our team and provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our lawyers. The role involves a variety of tasks, including:
- Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
- Scheduling court depositions, hearings, and meetings
- Filing and organizing important documents
The ideal candidate will ensure the efficiency of all office procedures and case management, guaranteeing reliability and consistency in our legal operations.
Legal Secretary Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage time-sensitive documents
- Exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Previous office administration experience is helpful
