Are you an experienced machine operator with a passion for quality and safety? Join our dynamic team as a Roll and Mix Operator. We are looking for a dedicated professional with extensive experience in operating and managing rolling machines. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
This is a 3rd shift 3pm-11pm. Will train on 1st/2nd. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies/procedures and exercise stop work authority as needed.
- Adhere to all quality policies/procedures and stop work authority.
- Understand and control all aspects of the rolling machines/equipment.
- Operate machines and perform job functions with assistance.
- Fully comprehend rolling and supporting documentation required for job completion.
- Conduct daily clean-up and TPMs (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Communicate effectively with the department lead and team operators.
- Complete all training documentation and on-the-job training (OJT) requirements.
- Utilize minor computer skills for tasks such as printing roll sheets and data entry.
- Safely set up and break down new/completed jobs.
- Verify product accuracy against rolling documentation before breakdown.
- Work independently on 75% of products with high production quality.
- Support R&D (Research and Development) orders.
- Review and update work instructions as necessary.
- Train and assess level 1-3 operators.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects alongside management, supervisors, maintenance, and engineers.
- Maintain productivity while assisting others and running multiple machines.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong communication skills to describe process problems to engineering, programming, or maintenance teams.
- Willingness to help with R&D orders.
- Ability to set up and perform jobs with excellent production quality.
- Experience in training level 1-3 operators.
- Capability to assist others while maintaining personal productivity.
- Strong organizational skills for performing daily clean-up and PM's.
- Proficiency in completing all mixes by following mix SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
