Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Microbiological Testing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and performing critical analysis on various products, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, and water. If you have experience with aseptic techniques, GMP, and working with SOPs, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
- Perform aseptic technique testing to ensure microbial safety and sterility of products.
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM), including air and surface sampling, to maintain a safe and sterile working environment.
- Perform microbial limits testing to assess the quality of raw materials and finished products. Maintain microbial cultures for ongoing testing and validation.
- Execute monograph testing in line with USP standards for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food products.
- Conduct water testing including purified water testing to meet regulatory standards and ensure product quality.
- Perform preservative testing to ensure the effectiveness and safety of preservatives in cosmetics and personal care products.
- Use electronic notebooks to record results accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare microbiological media as required for testing and growth promotion testing.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure that all records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Trained and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in all testing procedures.
- Analyze and interpret test data, providing recommendations for improvements when necessary.
- A degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
