Job Posting: Mechanic Operator 1

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Line Facilitator and in compliance with QSR and safety requirements, the Mechanic Operator 1 will perform necessary setups, repairs, preventive maintenance, and operate assigned manufacturing equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as corporate Client procedures and guidelines, the Mechanic Operator 1 will:

1. Perform equipment set-up and changeover in a timely manner.
2. Produce different sizes and types of products of high quality and predetermined production outputs.
3. Perform suture and needle changeovers with a high degree of proficiency.
4. Optimize machine performance by observing operating conditions, replenishing raw materials, and removing cycled products.
5. Use initiatives to ensure efficient machine operations and high quality standards.
6. Troubleshoot and take corrective actions on assigned equipment to minimize downtime. Assist Maintenance Technician as needed.
7. Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
8. Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturing specifications related to assigned equipment.
9. Utilize machine interface software to control the machine and document batch information.
10. Troubleshoot computerized equipment.
11. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work area.
12. Adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment, if required, to ensure job safety.
13. Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator.
14. Follow current compliance regulations and standards.
15. Ensure safe working conditions and practices in the department.
16. Understand and adhere to Company Production System (EPS) Principles and Rules.
17. Dismantle equipment and remove defective parts or material using hand tools and power tools when necessary.
18. Comply with all environmental, safety, and occupational health policies (e.g., ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001).

Experience and Education:

1. Technical degree in Electronics, Electricity, Refrigeration, Automotive Mechanic, Marine Mechanic, Aviation Mechanic and/or Industrial Mechanics, preferred.
2. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
