8:00am- 4:30PM M-F

What's a typical day as a Material Planner? You'll be:
• Responsible for key performance indicators such as on-time delivery and maintaining safety stock levels.
• Assisting with timely and accurate planning of material requirements.
• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring movement of materials through production cycle for on-time delivery.
• Coordinating new product introductions.
• Providing input to management for rescheduling in case of interruptions.
• Implementing material master changes and product structures.
• Analyzing trends and recalculating orders and requirements as needed.
• Following up on open orders and partial shipments.
• Partnering effectively with external departments to resolve issues.
• Identifying and proactively communicating inventory stock level risks.
• Analyzing root causes of stock outs and implementing corrective measures.
• Controlling all documentation relative to the operations planning function.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in a business, supply chain, data scientists or equivalent relevant experience.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling or related experience.
• Have knowledge of ERP System (SAP).
• Have excellent knowledge of production planning and strong analytical skills.
• Have project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and have good time management skills.
• Are able to react appropriately to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Have knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP, ISO Regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
• Have OSHA safety compliance knowledge.
• Demonstrate the Thermo Fisher values – Integrity, Intensity, Involvement, and Innovation.
• Are highly responsive to internal and external customers.
• Have experience working with all levels of the organization.
• Have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Have APICS certification in Planning & Inventory Management (preferred).
• Have Six Sigma Certification (preferred).
