Kelly is is seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager with very strong copywriting experience and excellent business-to-business (B2B - brokers, employers) writing skills for a leading healthcare client in Upstate NY. 

Location: Upstate NY (Remote, must be located in the Client's service area)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $49-$50/Hour depending on experience
Salary upon Hire: $108,000 with benefits and paid time off starting to accrue Job Summary:  Looking for a seasoned marketing manager with excellent business-to-business writing skills.  This role supports corporate goals and objectives through the strategic planning, development, positioning, promotion of brand, product and service launches, go-to-market campaigns and acquisition, retention and loyalty initiatives for key target audiences.

Essential Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Write compelling copy illustrating our integrated pharmacy and care management programs as best-in-class.
  • Connect brokers and employers to the value and benefits of our pharmacy line of business.
  • Raise brand perception of our pharmacy programs through content development, including white papers, blogs, emails, op-eds, collateral development, website content, and campaign messaging.
  • Manage partnerships with internal and external agencies for creative development, production, fulfillment, media buying, and planning.
  • Oversee corporate brand standards, including product naming, messaging, and graphic identity client business.
  • Prepare clear, concise Marketing Briefs to align internal stakeholders, marketing strategies, and campaign execution.
  • Understand business segment and target audience needs, staying informed of category trends and competition to provide strategic insights.
  • Lead and manage development of campaign plans, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Communicate and present campaigns, progress, and results, obtaining feedback from stakeholders.
  • Lead matrixed teams including marketing, sales, corporate communications, and operations leadership for role clarity and execution.
  • Ensure timely creation and production of critical brand/product communications using message simplification principles.
  • Serve as a brand steward, understanding and communicating brand guidelines and standards for an enhanced customer experience.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience writing marketing copy in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative ideas and successful content for various channels.
  • Outstanding command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Thorough knowledge of AP style.
  • Experience developing high-value creative concepts for marketing campaigns.
  • Highly skilled in adopting the voice of the brand.
  • Comfortable working with a range of internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
