Description

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Operator for one of our premier clients. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines and specialized equipment to fabricate high-quality tarps, windscreens, and awnings. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring that all assembled products meet our strict quality standards.This is a day shift, Monday-Friday and pay rate is $13-$15 depending on experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production and Assembly:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines and other specialized equipment.
  • Assemble products according to specifications, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
  • Material Handling and Cutting:

  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials for production while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure accurate use of materials such as canvas, vinyl, and other fabrics.
  • Quality Control:

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
  • Identify and address any defects or production issues promptly.
  • Maintenance and Safety:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaboration:

  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Provide input for process improvements to increase efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably within the fabric industry.
    • Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.
    • Ability to read and interpret production blueprints and instructions.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
    • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
