Pay Rate: $30 per hour

What's a typical day as a Maintenance Mechanic? You'll:
  • Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems for seamers, leading Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, and Breakdown Elimination Daily Management Systems (DMS).
  • Lead CPS (Continuous Process System) activities related to seamers, including:
  • Implementing 5S principles
  • Managing seamer centerlines via weekly set-up sheet PM
  • Ensuring daily execution of seamer Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate (CIL) routines
  • Supporting seamer-related AMD (Autonomous Maintenance Development) initiatives
  • Develop and lead seamer-specific 90-Day loss elimination plans, driving performance in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, M&R (Maintenance and Repair) costs, and PM completion.
  • Coach and develop seamer mechanics and shift teams, serving as a technical resource and coach for seaming operations.
  • Actively participate in Seamer Daily Directional Setting (DDS) meetings, contributing to daily plan execution and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve seaming excellence.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the:
 Must-Haves:
  • Experience in managing Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
  • Expertise in seaming equipment operations and related CPS activities (5S, centerline management, CIL routines).
  • Ability to develop and lead 90-day loss elimination plans.
  • Leadership and coaching experience, especially in mentoring seamer mechanics and shift teams.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for daily DDS meetings and cross-functional coordination.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with Autonomous Maintenance Development (AMD) initiatives.
  • Experience in managing Maintenance and Repair (M&R) costs.
