Kelly® is seeking Press Operators and Cutting Machine Operators in Rock Hill, SC
Shift:
1st 6:45a to 3p ,
2nd 2:45 to 11p,
3rd 10:45p to 7a
Payrate of $19 and $19.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Cutting machine operator/ Slitter
Ensuring proper cuts in rolled material for Cutting machine operator,
Loading rolls onto the machine and unloading rolls off the machine with use of lifting equipment
Inspect printed materials for quality control, identifying defects or inconsistencies.
Operate printing press machinery as required, following safety and operational guidelines.
Monitor the printing process to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Both positions require
Collaborate with team members to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and machine operations.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of printing equipment.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or a related field is a plus.Previous experience as a Slitter, Cutting machines or strong machine operation is required for Cutting operator
Previous printing press or quality inspection is preferred for the press operator is preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with printing processes and machinery is an advantage.
