Job Description: Operators

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•           Operate assembly/production machinery that manufactures internal components and systems for the automotive industry.
•           Perform dexterous assembly with hands.
•           Stand for 8-10 hours in steel toed shoes.
•           Work well with others in a team environment.
•           Follow plant, safety, quality procedures and work instructions.
•           Keep work area clean.
•           Verify quality parts are being produced by performing visual and gauging checks.
•           Be flexible with overtime.
•           Promote an atmosphere conscience of health, safety, and environmental practices.
•           Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
Good attendance is mandatory
Good oral/written communications skills and organizational skills
Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with co-workers and supervisors
Basic inspections skills and execute job responsibilities with little supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing, moving, walking, lifting for extended periods of time. Able to climb, bend, twist, stoop, walk and push cart.
