Kelly® is hiring a Liquid Bulk Tanker Truck Loader to work at a premier food production client in Olney, IL. $18/hour. Potential for higher pay based on experience.

Paid weekly.

Monday-Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm

3 to 6 month position, covering for employee on medical leave.

What's a typical day?

• Hooking hoses up to tanker trucks and filling them with vinegar using both electric and gas pumps.
• Climbing up to 12 feet on a stationary safety ladder with 2' x 3' platform, matching seals, and securing the hose with a clamp onto the top of truck to fill the tank.
• Check vents to prevent pressure buildup. Read flow meter to monitor liquid levels, determine remaining tank capacity, and reverse flow if needed.
• Taking and checking samples and making adjustments when needed.
• Will be outdoor in elements majority of shift in a covered/enclosed area with a building that is temperature controlled you can go into. Well-lit work area.
• Perform safety checks & fill out paperwork.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months warehouse, manufacturing, production, filling, or similar experience.
• Are able to climb 12 feet onto a stationary ladder, clamp the hose onto the top of a tanker truck, and read/monitor a flow meter.
• Are good with math (to understand gallons).
• Need to be able to tolerate fumes and know when to leave the area if overwhelming.
• Can work alone, give complete attention to detailed work, and make timely decisions based on work production needs.
• Can monitor vinegar tanks.
• Can use a ladder or work from heights as needed and work off-shift and weekends as necessary.
