We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to become an integral part of their dynamic legal team. Pay rate: $26.00 - $30.00
Length: Contract to hire
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact, managing intake calls and emails with professionalism and empathy.
  • Efficiently schedule and coordinate client consultations and follow-ups for our attorneys.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, calendar management, and client onboarding.
  • Manage and update client files using our advanced client management system.
  • Handle electronic and traditional filings of pleadings with State and Federal Courts.
  • Assist in preparing briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate service of process for legal documents.
  • Finalize a variety of court documents for e-filing and paper filing.
  • Gather due diligence materials, including certificates of good standing and real estate information.
Requirements:
  • Experience with court e-filing systems is essential.
  • Previous experience in a law firm is required.
  • A college degree is preferred, enhancing your ability to perform at a high level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone etiquette skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
