The Learning & Development Specialist will support all learning and development activities and provide operational support for the Learning & Development team. It will provide coordination and execution of training programs. It will also manage tracking and reporting in relevant learning systems to provide metrics to leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for logistics, providing materials and support to participants to ensure readiness
  • Collect and document survey feedback from training programs
  • Maintain and communicate programs schedule/calendar
  • Liaise with other departments to confirm speakers and topics in training programs
  • Works with external vendors on contracts, systems upgrades, data compliance and reporting, to ensure all relevant information is compiled and available
  • Coordinate contract initiation, renewal and associated payments
  • Assign courses and run relevant reports/analytics in learning management systems
  • Ensuring Compliance Wire courses for HR are rolled out successfully
  • Communicate and market learning opportunities to employees
  • Add course content to the Learning and Development page on the intranet, upon approval
  • Participate in the creation of training/educational related materials for HR initiatives such as Performance Management
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Human Resources discipline preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in HR or Training preferred
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Well organized, prioritizes work, manages time effectively, and follows through
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in strict confidence with sensitive data
  • Ability to work independently
  • 3-days in office required
