Lab Technician – Mead, CO

Type: Contract (6 months, potential for conversion)
Shift: Fulltime, Hourly
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, and organize laboratory glassware and equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use.
• Assist in preparing laboratory standards and reagents under the guidance of QC Chemists.
• Help in the organization, labeling, and disposal of samples following proper protocols.
• Support QC Chemists by entering data under supervision.
• Monitor laboratory supplies and chemicals, assisting with inventory management and ordering.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment, including routine cleaning of bench tops, sinks, and storage areas.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Provide general support to QC Chemists and other lab personnel as needed, especially during the preparation and execution of tests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in a laboratory or a degree. 
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is a plus but not required.
• Skills:
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork capability.
