L4 PNP Validation Technician
Folsom, California
Hourly Pay: $28/hr on up + DOE
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Benefits + Paid Time Off

You are expected to lead efforts in the validation life cycle of PnP resources tooling and infrastructure. What this means is that you will be responsible for the support of the automation of EETP projects, be ready to intercept new content, understand new workflows, improve, and maintain current methodologies to better strategize the production infrastructure.

Tasks:

  • System maintainer installation and troubleshooting of new and current systems.
  • Support the infrastructure that support all tools and deployments of OS's.
  • Able to comprehend/edit scripts to automate tests in all areas under direction of an Engineer.
  • Provide leadership, procedural expertise, and relevant technical knowledge to teammates.
  • Complete ambiguous multi-component tasks with little to no direction working closely with engineers.
  • Independently triage complex/high impact bugs within the test infrastructure and supporting environment.
  • Isolate and work towards solutions for automation issues/problems.
  • Ability to categorize and isolate issues.

Skills:
  • Requires limited to no supervision/direction within assigned tasks.
  • Able to execute end-to-end on ambiguous tasks.
  • Capable of reviewing results in all areas.
  • Proficient in all debug areas pertaining to them and directs debug flow.
  • Takes initiative for next steps and suggests next steps for others.
  • Follows test procedures, capable of suggesting corrections globally.
  • Able to setup test equipment to gather and interpret failure data.
  • Python knowledge.
  • Linux bash knowledge.
  • Requires minimal supervision/direction on complex tasks.
  • Executes loosely defined tasks without hesitation.
  • Result can be trusted and capable of reviewing other's results in some areas.
  • Takes initiative for next steps within bounds of assigned task.
  • Follows test procedures, capable of suggesting corrections in some areas.

Must Have:
  • Proficiency using a variety of OS, Windows, Fedora and Debian.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
