Hourly Payrate: $27.00
Contract length: June 2025 with great possibility of contract extension for the next fiscal year.
Work Schedule: Monday -Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm

What's a typical day as a Job Locator and Developer? You'll be:
• Developing new jobs for Federal Work-Study and non-FWS students with non-profit, for-profit organizations and the college.
• Coordinating workshops for job development skills – resume writing, interviewing, etc.
• Overseeing the execution of the FWS Off-Campus Employer student hiring, payment, and employer reimbursement process.
• Creating marketing materials to be disseminated to students and employers.
• Conducting periodic on-site job reviews.
• Working with employers and student workers to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Reviewing and improving FWS procedures, if necessary.
• Representing the FWS Program at appropriate functions.
• Learning college's Handshake Job System and Colleague, SIS.
• Serving as a member of the FWS Advisory Committee.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 2-5 years of minimum years of experience of job development, HR experience.
• Possess excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Are well-versed with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have at least one year of supervisory responsibilities.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree with 5 or more years of job development skills.
• Have 2-5 years of experience developing jobs; working with non-profit and for-profit organizations.
• Have 1-2 years of financial aid experience.
