Job Title: IS Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: IS Inventory Control Specialist
- Location: 8901 Farrow Road Columbia SC
- Pay Rate: $22.55
- Shift: 8am-5pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control processes including planning, tracking, trending, and reporting.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and process inventory receipts.
- Lead and develop the Receiving team, providing training on processes and software.
- Monitor, forecast, and plan for inventory needs, collaborating with project teams and procurement.
- Coordinate and distribute work among the Receiving team, ensuring productivity and timely completion.
- Resolve order and customer-based issues to maintain productivity.
- Oversee the reconciliation of actual inventory to reported inventory, identifying and correcting process gaps.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Facilitate the planning and shipping of equipment to remote sites.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control in a production environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with spreadsheet and database applications required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
