Shifts Available:
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm - $17.60/hr
• 3rd Shift: 10:30pm - 7:30am $18.40/hr
What's a typical day as an Inspector/Packer? You'll be:
• Becoming familiar with product lines and all related visual defects to identify rejected parts
• Visually inspecting bottles retrieved from machines, conveyor lines, or bulk containers and making quality decisions on each part
• Recognizing out-of-spec production and advising supervisor or set-up personnel
• Performing 15-minute inspections of high volume production
• Setting up work area as a controlled environment with appropriate attire
• Performing housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean production environment
• Maintaining necessary paperwork levels throughout the shift
• Adhering to all company and departmental work and safety rules
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Possess a High School diploma or a GED
• Are able to read, write, and understand the English language
• Can perform simple math such as adding and subtracting whole numbers
• Have excellent hand-eye coordination skills
• Are able to lift and load pallets with weights up to 35 pounds
• Have the ability to work in a high-speed, repetitive production environment
• Can work well with others in a team environment
• Are able to adjust to changing operating conditions quickly and efficiently
