Description

Kelly is hiring an Inside Sales Representative on behalf of a manufacturer of heavy operating equipment servicing the steel industry. This is a temporary to hire position.

$28 - $31 Per Hour + Commission

Flexible with Start and End Times

Key Responsibilities:

• Act timely and effectively as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to provide tailored solutions
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and trends

• Upsell and cross-sell hydraulics, fluid power systems and controls products
• Provide quotes and process customer orders
• Follow up on leads to convert them into direct sales
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Address technical inquiries and troubleshoot product-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions
• Assist with inventory management, shipping coordination, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably in hydraulics, fluid power systems, or controls
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Experience in the forging industry is highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
