Job Title: Industrial Painter

Location: Roanoke, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings to fuel regulation tanks and related components, ensuring the highest quality standards for durability, safety, and aesthetic appearance. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, familiarity with safety procedures, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply protective coatings, paints, and finishes to various metal surfaces, specifically fuel regulation tanks and related components.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming, ensuring proper adhesion and durability.
  • Operate spray guns, brushes, and other painting tools to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
  • Mix and prepare paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, checking for uniformity, coverage, and smoothness.
  • Ensure proper ventilation and environmental controls are maintained during the painting process to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of paint materials and chemicals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of painting equipment and tools.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of painted components.
  • Report any defects, damages, or issues with materials or equipment to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an industrial painter, with expertise in painting large metal components.
  • Knowledge of industrial paints, coatings, and painting techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials (up to [X] lbs).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, particularly with fuel regulation tanks, is a plus.
  • MUST PASS A SPRAY TEST DURING INTERVIEW

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including hot, cold, or damp conditions.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
