Hybrid Medical Billing Assistant

Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Medical Billing Assistant in a hybrid work environment! This role is perfect for someone with a passion for healthcare and a desire to support the medical billing process. You will have the opportunity to work both remotely and in the office, with the flexibility to balance your work life. If you have experience with Fusion or any EMR systems and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Hybrid (part-time)
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $18 to $20+ per hour
- Shift: Daytime schedule, 30 to 40 hours per week (8 am to 5 pm)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the full-time medical biller in processing medical billing tasks.
- Assist in maintaining accurate medical records and billing information.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings in the office every Wednesday.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay self-motivated and willing to learn new processes and systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an office administrative role, preferably with exposure to medical billing or medical records.
- Familiarity with pediatrics, medical insurance, and non-profit missions is a plus.
- Experience with Fusion or other EMR systems is preferred.
