HR Generalist
Temporary – 3-month assignment
Location: Miami Florida
Hybrid work schedule: work in office minimum 2 days per week
Salary: $40-45 per hour

Position Overview: As an HR Generalist you will play a critical role in supporting our HR initiatives and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. You will handle various HR tasks, including policy review, job description writing, and compensation analysis prep. Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing HR policies and recommend updates to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices.
- Job Descriptions: Develop, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization.
- Compensation Analysis: Assist in preparing compensation analysis, including market research and data collection to ensure competitive and equitable salary structures.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and resolve issues, providing guidance and support on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Support recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and conducting interviews. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Performance Management: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of performance management processes, including performance appraisals and development plans.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR topics, ensuring employees are informed and up to date on HR policies and procedures.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system and generate reports as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
