Now Hiring: HR Business Partner – Temp with Potential for Hire
Are you a driven HR professional with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments? A leading printing manufacturing company in Rochester, NY is seeking an HR Business Partner (Temp with Potential for Hire) to support site leadership and employees through strategic HR initiatives, compliance, and workforce planning.
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Bilingual Spanish/English speakers may be eligible for a pay differential.
If converted to a permanent role, salary may range from $75,000–$85,000/year depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some flexibility available)
Employment Type: Temporary (Potential for Temp-to-Hire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with site leadership to drive employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and I-9 completion processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (especially NYS wage/labor laws), and local employment regulations.
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations and leadership development.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee issues professionally and effectively.
- Collaborate with staffing agencies for high-volume recruitment needs.
- Maintain and generate reports on HR metrics, staffing trends, and initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture through retention and employee experience programs.
- 3+ years in an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of NY State wage and labor laws.
- Skilled in I-9 compliance, recruiting systems, and onboarding processes.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, with a potential pay differential.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
